Enquiry privacy notice
This notice describes what happens to the information you send through the enquiry form on this website. It is a working notice for the enquiry process, not the company’s full booking terms, and it will be replaced by the company’s formal privacy policy. If anything matters to you, ask us before you send.
What we collect
The answers you give in the four steps: your journey preferences, dates, travellers and children’s ages at travel, accommodation preferences, flight and transfer notes, contact details, country of residence and citizenship, residency category, and anything you add in the free-text boxes. An optional attachment is stored privately.
Who can see it
Enquiry records are readable and editable only by the company’s own staff administrators. They are not listed publicly, and another visitor to this website cannot read your enquiry. The records are used to answer your enquiry and prepare a proposal.
Messages we send
When you submit, we attempt to send a notification to our own office email, a short phone alert to the company, and an acknowledgement to the email address you give. Your acknowledgement tells you what we received and gives you a reference. We do not claim a message was delivered when our sending service has not confirmed it — the receipt on screen shows the actual state.
Marketing
Marketing email is a separate, optional tick box that starts unchecked. Leaving it unticked never blocks your enquiry.
Documents we do not ask for now
The enquiry form does not ask for passport numbers or medical records. Residency documents and passport details should only be shared later through a secure booking process if they are needed.
Retention and removal
Enquiries are kept while we are working on them and for the company’s records afterwards. To ask what we hold, or to ask us to remove an enquiry, email info@takemetheresafaris.com with your reference.
