We are a tour operator based in Nairobi, planning private safaris across East and Southern Africa for travellers who would rather understand a place than tick it off.

We sell the places we know, at the pace they deserve.
Take Me There Safaris was built on a simple frustration: too many safaris are sold as a list of parks with long transfers in between. We plan the other way round — start with what you want to feel, then work out which region, season and route can deliver it.
Every journey we propose is checked against the month you are travelling, the ages in your party and how far you are willing to sit in a vehicle. Where a request will not work, we say so and offer the alternative instead of quietly selling the version that photographs better.
Our guides and ground partners are people we have worked with for years. That matters most when something moves — a road, a flight, a permit — because there is someone on the ground who can fix it before you notice.
In the field
Routes are checked on the ground, not only on a map. If a road has changed, we know before we send you.
How we work

One consultant, start to finish
The person who answers your first question plans your route and remains your contact while you travel. No handovers to a call centre.
Written down, not implied
You get a proposal with each night's area, the level of stay, the transfers and what is included. If something is not included, it says so.
Honest about the odds
Migration timing, gorilla permits, rain in April. We will tell you when your dates make something unlikely rather than sell you the picture.
